AI Recommendations

Dekko uses artificial intelligence to analyze your carbon assessment and generate concrete recommendations, tailored to your sector and emission sources.

How do recommendations work?

When you request recommendations on a completed assessment, Dekko:

  1. Analyzes the distribution of your emissions by scope, category, and site.
  2. Identifies your highest-emitting categories and those with the best reduction potential.
  3. Cross-references this data with your industry sector, company size, and available financial incentives (ADEME, CEE, Ma Prime Rénov' Copro).
  4. Generates recommendations ranked by impact (low, medium, high) and implementation difficulty (easy, medium, hard).

Cost: 3 credits per generation

Each recommendation request uses 3 credits. Recommendations are saved and accessible anytime from the assessment page at no additional cost.

Recommendation categories

Recommendations cover 8 action areas:

  • Energy — Switching to green supplier, contract optimization, peak-hour load shedding.
  • Transport — Switching to electric, carpooling, sustainable mobility package, remote work.
  • Equipment — Oil boiler replacement, LED lighting, heat pump, smart controls.
  • Building — Thermal insulation, window replacement, airtightness, green roof.
  • Behavior — Employee awareness, eco-friendly practices, temperature guidelines, automatic shutoff.
  • Procurement — CSR supplier criteria, refurbished equipment, local sourcing.
  • Digital — Extending equipment lifespan, green hosting, cloud usage optimization.
  • Other — Sector-specific recommendations that don't fit the above categories.

Bilingual recommendations

Each recommendation is generated in French and English simultaneously. This allows you to:

  • Use the French version for internal use and French CSR questionnaires.
  • Share the English version with international clients or partners.
  • Include both versions in a bilingual report if needed.

Export-ready for your clients

If your client is a large international group, the English version of recommendations can be directly integrated into their CSR platform (EcoVadis, CDP, etc.).

Implementing recommendations

Each recommendation includes practical information to facilitate implementation:

  • Estimated impact — Potential reduction in tCO2e/year. Based on your profile and actual data.
  • Difficulty — Easy (< 1 month, no investment), Medium (1–6 months, moderate investment), Hard (> 6 months, significant investment).
  • Cost estimate — Budget range and available financial incentives (tax credits, ADEME grants, CEE).
  • Implementation steps — List of concrete actions to follow to implement the recommendation.

Track your progress

Each recommendation has a status you can update:

  • New — Just generated, not yet reviewed in detail.
  • Viewed — You've read and evaluated it.
  • In Progress — Implementation has started (work launched, order placed).
  • Completed — The action is done. The impact will be visible in your next assessment.
  • Dismissed — Not relevant or not feasible for your company. You can note the reason.

Compare year over year

By marking recommendations as "Completed," you'll be able to measure the concrete impact of your actions in your next assessment. It's the best way to demonstrate a reduction trajectory to your clients.
