Generate a Report

The PDF report is the final deliverable of your carbon assessment. It's the document you send to clients, partners, or auditors to justify your footprint.

Available report types

Dekko offers several report formats depending on your needs:

  • Standard — Complete BEGES report with methodology, results, scope breakdown, and recommendations. This is the recommended format for CSR questionnaires.
  • Executive Summary — Condensed 2–3 page version with key figures, badge, and priority actions. Ideal for management or an initial discussion with a client.
  • Detailed — Extended report including per-site and per-BEGES category breakdown, data sources, and calculation assumptions. For in-depth audits.
  • Certificate — One-page document showing your badge, total emissions, and period. Usable as quick proof of CSR commitment.

Cost: 5 credits per report

Generating a report uses 5 credits, regardless of type. You can regenerate a report as many times as needed (each generation uses 5 credits).

Standard report sections

The standard report includes the following sections:

  1. Cover page — Your company logo, carbon badge, assessment year, and key figure (total tCO2e).
  2. Company information — Company name, SIRET, sector, headcount, sites. Context for the report reader.
  3. Methodology — Organizational and operational scope, covered scopes, BEGES V5 reference, emission factors used (ADEME Base Carbone).
  4. Overall results — Total footprint, Scope 1 / Scope 2 breakdown, per-employee ratio, category distribution charts.
  5. Per-site breakdown — Emissions broken down by facility with carbon intensity comparisons across sites.
  6. Recommendations — Priority reduction actions generated by AI, ranked by impact and implementation difficulty.
  7. Appendices — List of emission factors used, excluded categories with justification, data sources.

Customize your report

Before generating, you can customize several elements:

  • Sections to include — Check or uncheck sections as needed. For example, you can omit appendices for a more concise report.
  • Company message — A free-text field (200 characters max) displayed on page 2 of the report. Example: "Our company commits to reducing emissions by 30% by 2030."
  • Logo — Your logo is automatically pulled from company settings. Verify it's uploaded before generating.

Tip for CSR questionnaires

To respond to a client CSR questionnaire, use the Standard report with all sections enabled. Add a commitment message with a quantified reduction target. That's what procurement departments want to see.

Download and share

Once generated, your report is available as a PDF download from the assessment page. You can:

  • Download the PDF directly to your computer.
  • Copy a secure sharing link (the recipient doesn't need a Dekko account).
  • Send by email directly from Dekko (to a client, an auditor).

The report is a snapshot

The PDF report reflects the state of your assessment at generation time. If you modify emissions afterward, the PDF won't be automatically updated. You'll need to regenerate a new report (5 credits).
