Quick Start

Create your account and get your first carbon assessment in under 10 minutes.

Create your account

Two options to sign up:

  • Email + password — Enter your name, email, and a secure password.
  • Google — One-click sign-in. Dekko only retrieves your name and email — never your Google Drive data or contacts.

Password requirements

At least 8 characters with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a digit, and a special character. These rules protect your carbon data against unauthorized access.

Setup wizard

After signing up, a 4-step wizard guides you:

1. Company information

Company name, industry sector, and number of employees. Dekko automatically creates your "Main Site" with this information.

The SIRET number

The SIRET is a 14-digit identifier assigned to each business establishment in France by INSEE.

You can find it on your Kbis extract, your invoices, or on societe.com by searching your company name.

This field is optional, but it allows precise identification of your establishment for the BEGES report.

2. Industry sector

The sector you choose determines the pre-configured emission sources. For example, a transport company will have vehicle fuel enabled by default, but not a digital agency.

3. Scope configuration

Understanding carbon scopes

"Scopes" are the 3 categories of international carbon accounting. Dekko focuses on Scopes 1 and 2:

  • Scope 1 — Direct emissions
What YOUR company burns directly: fuel for your vehicles, gas/oil heating in your premises, refrigerant leaks.
  • Scope 2 — Purchased energy
Energy you PURCHASE: your electricity, district heating, district cooling.
  • Scope 3 — Other indirect emissions
Everything else: employee commuting, equipment purchases, freight, waste... Scope 3 is optional in Dekko and will be gradually expanded.

4. First period

Choose the year for your first assessment (e.g., 2025). You can optionally select a quarter for a partial assessment.

Tip

For your first assessment, we recommend choosing the most recent complete year for which you have all your energy invoices.
