GHG (Greenhouse Gases)

GES (Gaz à Effet de Serre)

Greenhouse gases (GHGs) are atmospheric gases that absorb and re-emit infrared radiation, contributing to global warming. The main GHGs are carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), and fluorinated gases. For comparison purposes, all emissions are expressed in CO2 equivalent (CO2e).
